On the north bank of the river Spree and on a prominent site between Warschauer Bridge and the East Side Gallery, a new work-live-play urban quarter is being created. In addition to the existing Mercedes Benz Arena, a new entertainment district with multiplex cinema, a bowling center an event arena for 4,000 visitors, restaurants, hotels, over 2,000 upscale apartments and over 18,000 new office workspaces, FREO is developing the East Side Mall – a brand new, exciting retail destination for Berlin.
With a total rentable space of 37,800 sqm, East Side Mall will feature an attractive mix of tenants including retail, services, gastronomy and leisure spaces. The retail sales area will be 24,800 sqm and there will be 720 car parking spaces. The opening is scheduled for 2018.
